Venturing inside the recently refurbed Chatswood train station theres a lot of new eateries to choose from upstairs in The District - a mega huge food court with some interesting asian varietals to choose for your lunch or dinner meals. Then take a level down and you'll find the loveable Pishon Patisserie, a Korean cafe/patisserie adorned with quaint wooden furniture and adorable drinks and sweets on display.
We stop by to try their exotic flavoured lattes and a slice of cake before we by-pass the train station. Inside the store is a glass cabinet display with all their wares - sweet and innocently cute cookies, pastries and decadent cakes by the whole or slice. We opted for the chiffon cake and ordered the green tea chiffon to go with our hot beverages.
At the time I was there, the promotional drink available was the Lady Grey or Earl Grey Latte series. I went ahead and ordered the Earl Grey. A fragrant tea latte with sweetness and milky yet very sugary residue that needed a quick stir towards the bottom. MsFlatWhite joins me in the flavoured latte series and orders the lilac coloured Taro milk latte to go with our slice of cake.
The slice itself is a neat chunk of soft and moist chiffon blended with little layers of chantilly cream. and soon enough over catch up conversation this slice was easily devoured with the combination of our drinks.
