Audrey Restaurant/Cafe, Bangkok

Audrey Restaurant/Cafe
Bangkok Thailand

The aptly named Audrey in Bangkok Thailand is very much a sweet embodiment towards Audrey Hepburn's "Breakfast at Tiffany's" that all fans would love to visit. Self-dubbed as a European inspired Bistro/Cafe from their website, it is a successful cafe turned franchise that is situated in a couple of different places central of Bangkok.

The main flagship Bistro Cafe Restaurant is their two-storey building in Thonglor Soi 11. It's a chic restaurant with white wooden french doors and tall long mirrors, a big floral display and for the sweet tooth; a macaron showcase at the front counter and staff dressed like French maids and butlers.

To begin we ordered some main courses and shared amongst three people: A medley of thai-euro dishes with a predominately asian flavour. The pork panang curry served with a crispy outsided egg omelette thai style to dip into the sauce was a treat. The aromatic curry would also be good with rice but we just opted for the omelette instead since we had other meals awaiting.

Typical of us - we went for the pad thai noodles with chicken and for greens we got the stir fried chinese kale (I always referred to them as chinese broccoli?) with Oyster sauce and then a crunchy soft shell crab thats tossed through with fresh chili, salt and pepper.

Something very unique and was a "must try" was their pizza creation of "Tom Yum Kung" which after the usually Italian flair of a pizza dough base, tomato and cheese, it has a little tinge of that Thai soup taste onto the pizza bread.

To drink - my favourite, the Thai Milk Tea. A super sweet blend of black tea sweetened up with condensed milk.

A very cute concept for those in Bangkok area! I really enjoyed their food menu and even would go their again just to sit back with tea and cake next time.
